Jobs

A little bit about how we work and what we do.

Interns & Apprentices

We offer Internships (ages 13–17) for those just beginning their agricultural path, and Apprenticeships (generally ages 18+) for individuals pursuing farming as a more serious endeavor. Both positions are paid (weekly stipend plus farm share).

We offer the opportunity to:

  • Connect to local food producers and learn about agriculture, particularly vegetable farming, in northern New Mexico
  • Gain insight into small farm business operations and engage with our community
  • Practice organic farming techniques
  • Work with the support of mentors and farm educators to build knowledge and skills
  • Experience an established business model and intensive mentorship at Cerro Vista Farm
  • Work in teams to plant, weed, harvest, and wash & pack for retail and wholesale clients
  • Sell produce at Questa Farmers Market and Tuesday Farm Stand
  • Deliver produce to wholesale customers, including Sangre de Cristo Valley Market
  • Create friendships, connect with the land, and grow food

Our Internship positions are closed for the 2026 season.

We are a nonprofit program facing limited funding this season. You may contact us to check on the possibility of additional positions becoming available.

We accept donations to help support our work.
